Cheese puffs and balls

I made cheese puffs and balls in the cake pop maker. I used puff pastry with cheese filling to make the puffs and self-raising flour to make the cheese balls. Quite happy with the outcome. There are various options for flavour, when making the puffs  and balls.

Cheese puffs

Puff pastry    1 sheet cut into 9 squares

Cheese      1/2 cup

Cream   1 tablespoon

Dried Oregano   1/8 teaspoon

Mix the cheese with cream and oregano. Place a teaspoon of cheese mixture in each square of pastry. Pull the corners of the pastry square, together and press together to seal the edges. Ensure that the filling is fully enclosed. Place in cake pop maker and cook for 5 minutes. Allow to cool till cheese is warm. Enjoy.





Cheese balls

Shredded cheese     1 cup

Wholemeal self-raising flour    2 tablespoons

Milk    2 tablespoons

Sesame seeds    1 teaspoon

Dried Oregano   1/4 teaspoon

Chilly powder   1/4 teaspoon

Mix all the ingredients and fill the cake pop maker holes. Cook for 3 minutes and then turn over and cook for 2 minutes. Enjoy.
