Homemade nutella

Nutella!!! A great favourite of many. Simply scooping out a spoonful itself, is quite an interesting task. Nut butter and chocolate-an addictive combination that kids could eat with anything. I tried a healthier version and it turned out pretty good.



Hazelnuts     1 cup

Coconut oil     1  1/2 tablespoon

Maple syrup    1/3 cup

Cocoa powder    3 tablespoons

Vanilla extract    1/2 tablespoon

Coconut milk     1/2 cup

Salt     1/8 teaspoon

Roast the hazelnuts in a pan on low heat till they start to brown. Cool down and powder them in a blender or food processor and continue till it looks like nut butter. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend well. Enjoy and store the rest in the fridge. It will thicken a bit.
